ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 1/2 to 1 Tbsp salt
  • 2 pcs tomatoes , chopped
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 3 pcs green mangoes , sliced
  • 1/2 kilo boneless milkfish belly
  • 1 bundle kangkong (swamp cabbage) cut into 2-inch lengths
  • 2 pcs siling pangsigang

steps

  1. Boil 4 cups  water with salt, tomatoes, onion and the green mangoes. Cook until the mangoes become tender and the soup  thickens. Remove  and strain the mangoes.
  2. Add the boneless milkfish belly and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Add the kangkong and the 2 pcs sili. Let simmer for 3 more minutes.
