ingredients

  • 1/4 k ampalaya (bitter melon)
  • 1/4 cup carrot
  • 2 pcs chili
  • 4 pcs prawn
  • 1/4 cup pork
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp calamansi Juice
  • for the chili fish sauce:
  • 2 tbsp patis
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 pc chili
  • 1 pc garlic

steps

  1. Take out the seeds of the bitter melon.
  2. Slice the bitter melon and then keep them in ice water with a little bit of salt.
  3. Slice  the carrots  & chili.
  4. Boil the prawns and pork.
  5. Cut the pork into thin strips.
  6. To make the sauce, boil the fish sauce with sugar.
  7. Mix together fish sauce and sugar mixture with chopped chili and pounded garlic.
  8. Toss everything together with the sauce and serve.
