ingredients

  • 1 rack baby back ribs cleaned
  • 1 bottle of barbeque sauce (8 ounces)
  • 1 cup 7up
  • for the dry rub:
  • 1 Tbsp rock salt
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp cumin

steps

  1. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients for the dry rub.
  2. Rub the dry rub all over the rack of ribs.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the barbeque sauce and 7Up. Pour over the ribs.
  4. Bake the ribs in a 350˚F oven while covered.
  5. Remove the cover then bake or broil until the sauce caramelizes.

Note: You may also grill the ribs to achieve a smoky taste. If so, use the barbeque sauce to baste.
