Here is an annoyingly simple recipe for you guys to try out—perfect for cooking newbies like me.

Baked Salmon with Lemon Butter Sauce and Steamed Vegetables

Ingredients:

500g fresh salmon

1 lemon, juiced

salt and pepper to taste

baguio beans, chopped

1 can of corn

2 carrots, cubed

1 head of broccoli, sliced

1 head of cauliflower, sliced

1 cup butter

Procedure:

  1. Rub salmon fillet in salt, pepper and some lemon juice. Set aside the rest of lemon juice for sauce.
  2. Fry the slab in cooking oil, skin side down ONLY, for 3 minutes.
  3. Place the marinated slab in the oven toaster for 5 minutes at 350 degrees.
  4. Pour on salmon drippings and squeeze in some lemon juice.
  5. For the siding of vegetables: Steam some sliced carrots, broccoli, cauliflower and baguio beans.
  6. Drain can of corn and add butter.
  7. For lemon butter sauce: In a cooking pan, simmer one cup of butter, some lemon juice (use two lemons) and a pinch of salt and pepper if you want.
  8. Eat while hot and tender. The meat of the salmon tends to harden.
