There's an old and often overused saying that goes, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away." The truth is, we don't just need one apple to be in good health. The experts say that we should take in at least five servings of fruit daily. Why? Lots of reasons!

First, fruits are 100% free of bad cholesterol. Also, like the human body, they are made up of about 80% water, which provides us with nourishment. Also, fruits are high in fiber, which help maintain our body weight and help us expel toxins from the body.

There are lots more reasons why we should eat fruit, especially when most of us are too busy to take care of ourselves.
