Thanksgiving is drawing near, and we at Mamou and Mamou too! would like to extend our deepest gratitude by adding more items to our menu - just in time for the holidays!

Malou Fores fondly thinks of her father, Acoy, whenever Thanksgiving rolls around. Thanksgiving has always been an important holiday to her family, and this is why we here at Mamou are bringing you Acoy's Turkey Platter to celebrate.

Nestled on a bed of savory chestnut stuffing and complemented by the sweetness of cranberry sauce, the centerpiece of Acoy's Turkey Platter includes generous hunks of freshly-carved Butterball turkey and a festive side of orange sweet potato compote. To top off your meal, you can either choose a slice of Pumpkin Pie or Key Lime Pie for dessert.

Acoy's Turkey Platter will be available at all Mamou branches starting November 24 (Thursday) until November 30th, 2011.

To make things more festive, Mamou is also adding another appetizer to their menu! Mamou's Charcuterie features an array of various meats and cheeses, such as Jamon serrano, pepper salami, chorizo iberico, arzua ulloa soft cow's milk, cheddar cheese, cranberry stilton cheese, raspberry jam, vanilla chestnut, fig jam, green olives with baby gherkins, guindillas, sourdough & melba chips. Match this with Mamou's selection of fine wines, or bring your own bottle, corkage free!
