Mrs. Fields: Love It, Share It.

Upon the prodding of friends who have sampled her chocolate chip cookies, Debbi Fields opened her first store in Palo Alto, California in 1977. Now, Mrs. Fields has grown into a global institution with a reputation for top quality baked goods. They are headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah and have almost 400 branches in the US and over 80 worldwide.

In the Philippines, Mrs. Fields is managed by Cookie Cafe Franchise System Inc., headed by President and COO Gerwyn See. “We acquired the brand in 2006 and have grown it into 17 outlets so far. Aside from our popular kiosk set-up, we have added the Cookie Café which goes beyond our usual cookie and baked goods menu and also carries more filling snacks,” he reveals. Out of the 17 outlets, 9 are cafes.  These offer hot, cold and blended refreshments, some pastries, sandwiches, and few pastas and rice dishes in selected locations.

But the heart of Mrs. Fields remains to be the cookie counter which displays soft chewy varieties baked with recipes developed to perfection, using real butter, whole eggs, pure vanilla, and a special blend of flour, sugar, and chocolate. Options are Milk Chocolate Chip, Semisweet Chocolate Chip, White Chunk Macadamia, Milk Chocolate Macadamia, Semisweet Chocolate with Walnuts, Chewy Fudge, Oatmeal Raisin,  Butter Sugar and Milk Chocolate with Walnuts

For those who want to indulge in smaller doses, bite-sized versions of the cookies called nibblers are available. They also have moist, rich, melt-in-your-mouth brownies which come in Double Fudge, Walnut Fudge, Macadamia Fudge, Golden Brownie, Rocky Mountain Mogul and Peanut Butter Dream Bar. A delicious alternative to the cookies and brownies are Mrs. Fields muffins, light and fluffy, they are great for snacks whether you opt for Blueberry, Double Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, White Chocolate, or Banana Walnut.

Too good to be enjoyed alone, Mrs. Fields treats are ideal for sharing. You can do that in a big way with Mrs. Fields signature Cookie Cakes. Large enough to serve up to 16 people, this novel delight can make any occasion memorable. The edible Cookie Card which can be personalized with a greeting is a nice way to mark milestones too.

For anyone in search of gifts, Mrs. Fields should be a destination. Send your sweet nothings with freshly baked gifts in premium packaging. Sold filled with the decadent products are dainty boxes, tin cans which make great storage for knick-knacks, and ceramic jars. Different designs are released every season, each one available in limited edition. The special containers can also be bundled with novelty items such as everyone’s favorite cute, fuzzy stuffed bear. Other gift ideas that are bound to elicit sighs of delight are the cookie cups and sweet pops which can be purchased individually and in bouquets.

If you’re planning a party, Mrs. Fields can come up with products which can be distributed as party favors.  You can even arrange for your own Mrs. Fields booth at the venue, for a minimum of P10, 000 worth of products.  If you want to wow your guests further, why not order a tower of baked goodies?
