October 13 marked the 7th anniversary of Appetite Magazine. As a way of giving back to its loyal fanbase of foodies over the years, the long-awaited Appetite Restaurant Festival was held at Shangri-La Plaza Mall. A lot of familiar and new faces were present in the crowd, truly making the Appetite Restaurant Festival a feast for old and new friends.
A Festival for the Tastebuds
Perhaps the icing on the cake that sets this culinary feast apart from the rest is that thirteen of Shangri-La’s best and brightest restaurants, which include Cyma, Pepper Lunch, Secret Recipe and Clawdaddy among others in its roster, provided some of their most delicious offerings for the guests to sample. Hundreds of excited and hungry foodies all trouped to Shangri-La Plaza’s Grand Atrium to have the first taste of a veritable food trip around the world. The sheer amount of food was enough to send even the heartiest of eaters into a dizzying tailspin. An insider trick is to sample a little of each in order to savor all the offerings from each of the thirteen restaurants.
From the 14th until the end of November, guests can avail of specially-made Appetite Sampler Menu platters from the participating restaurants to fill even the hungriest of bellies.
