Subspace Coffeehouse,  a Seoul-inspired coffee shop, has just landed in one of the busiest streets of Pasig City.   With  the  increasing   popularity of anything  Korean  in  the  country,  it is no surprise at all that people flock to this sweet spot for some good old coffee and more.

Enterprising  duo Wilmer Lopez and Thor bolanon share the same passion and interest in Korean culture that led to the creation of Subspace Coffeehouse. The interior  is an  eclectic  mix  of  industrial and polished finishes. On the walls are random doodles and writings in hangeul, posters  of  popular  K-pop   groups  and seoul exhibition prints, among other cute and geeky elements present in the café. The quirky vibe is further heightened with the use of mid-century modern furniture pieces, some of which can be bught from the owners’ furniture shop venture, Space Encounters.  The  pieces  at   the  coffee shop  are  subject  to  change whenever the  furniture store comes out  with a new collection.

Subspace Coffeehouse is home to unique blends, one of which is the sweet Purple Potato  Latte  variant  popular in Korea.  It  combines espresso, milk and the sweet-salty goodness of purple potato. Another must-try drink is the Peanut butter  Latte that comes with a dollop of peanut  butter.  fans  of both coffee and sweets will find delight in the Subspace Coffee   Float, featuring a nice blend of four flavors: espresso, caramel, ice cream and soda. Ice cream lovers would definitely love the coffee-laced Affogato and the Nebula coffee Jelly. Homemade cakes, cupcakes and chocolates and cakes are available as well.

Aside from design and  drinks, they also have screenings of K-dramas  or the latest music show performances projected on one of their walls to keep their guests entertained.  So if you are looking for a spot where you can get lost in, or to simply get  a  feel of Korean  culture,  Subspace Coffeehouse is the place to be.
