There was excitement and anticipation among Manila’s diehard foodies when news got around that Chef Carlo Miguel
was going to helm the kitchen at Opus in Resorts World. His culinary prowess at Sala, where he had been executive chef,
established a reputation for quality, consistency and outstanding dishes. The restaurant/lounge, which opened last year, was the brainchild of nightlife king Erik Cua. Interiors were inspired by Erik’s last trip to Paris, with walls replicating
contributions of each of the partners, who bring their greatest work under one roof.
