Review

Unlike other burger joints, Murray and D’vine distinguishes itself by offering burgers made with different kinds of meats, such as turkey (P395) and ostrich (P525). But meat burgers are not the only thing they are serving here. They also serve a vegetarian burger (P275), made with real vegetable and not tofu or a soy meat substitute. If that is not interesting enough, all their burgers come in half-pound patties and are amusingly served in a heart shaped bun! If it is your first time here, try their slider—three mini burgers served on a skewer with fries on the side. You may also ask for three different burgers in one go—beef (P132), chicken (P125) and ostrich (P198). The beef was the best one for me, as it was juicy, tender with a lovely pink center that captures the langhap-sarap that Filipinos love in burgers. The chicken was equally good. They use real chicken meat patties flavored with herbs and spices which were as juicy as the beef but with a slight peppery flavor. The ostrich was the most unusual, its texture and flavor a bit like beef, but not entirely so. It’s worth trying if you’re in for something different.
