Ordering crabs on a date might not sound like a good idea as they can be messy to eat, but if that doesn’t bother both of you, then order the Fried Crab with Black Pepper (P680). Here, they use very fresh crabs, as you can easily extract the meat from their shell. The black pepper was just enough to add a kick to the lovely sweet flavor of the crab without making it too spicy. However, if you’d rather have something more elegant, then try the Emperor Scallop with Cheese (P680). It featured batter-fried scallops that are topped with a creamy cheese sauce. The saltiness went well with the delicate flavor of the scallops. You can accompany this with the Fish Maw Stir-Fried with Mushrooms And Vegetables (P480). These were fish air bladders stir-fried with shitake mushroom and chopped vegetables. The soft chewy texture of the fish maw and the subtle spicy and smoky flavors of this dish made it stand out. For dessert, get the Nestlé Coffee Cakes (P80), which are diamond shaped treats made with layers of coffee and cream jelly.
